  2. Emmanuel, Look to see if there are any differences between the MP3 files? You could edit them in AUDACITY and save them all in the same format/quality. That might help. DG
  4. A PNG (often pronounced "ping") is an image file that lets you have transparent pixels. For example, if you cut out a picture of an aeroplane and save it on a transparent background as a .png file then you can use objects & animations to 'fly' that cut out plane across a background image(s). As Bernard has explained there appears to have been a problem created with saving the .png file as interlaced (no, I don't know what that means either...), which causes a thin white line to appear down the right-hand edge of the image. It doesn't happen if saved without interlacing.
  5. Does PREVIEW work OK? Try EXPORTING the mp3 tracks for a single track and use that instead of the individual tracks - does that work? Alternatively, try MP4 Video at High Quality 60fps. "PREVIEW works well? Try to export MP3 tracks for a single track and use them instead of individual tracks. Does it works? You can also try a high quality MP4 video at 60fps " "PREVIEW works fine? Try EXPORTING MP3 tracks for a single track and use them instead of individual tracks. Is it working? You can also try high quality MP4 video at 60fps".
  7. As far as I know it was made with an early version of PTE, unless Dave (the author of the show) had tried Proshow before that. Anyway he also sends his thanks. Andrew
  8. Hey guys, Here are this week’s new tracks. Free to use with attribution. Enjoy! 8-BIT ANTICS – Maybe for a cute retro-2D game? Or something else? https://soundimage.org/chiptunes-3/ THE ANT HILL GANG SADDLES UP AGAIN – And they’re off…the most incompetent gang to ever (attempt to) ride across the west. They’ll probably get lost. Anyhow, this might be fun in a comedic western-themed piece. https://soundimage.org/funny-6/ TECHNO RANDOMNESS – Unlike many of my tracks that are built layer by layer, this one was done “live” (in real-time) by improvising with two of my synths at the same time. Perhaps useful in some kind of wacky technology-based puzzle game? https://soundimage.org/puzzle-music-4/ DYSTOPIAN SUNSET – Perched atop a mile-high structure, the machine-being stares out over the shimmering grid, wondering what the night will bring. https://soundimage.org/sci-fi-7/
  9. Glad it worked out. The program I use is not very intuitive. Tried every combination of settings until I got it right. But I kept getting an error message, "Encoded JPG detected (Photodex)...". Was this show created by ProShow? Just curious. Gary
  10. Many thanks Gary for successfully extracting the images Andrew
  11. Cedric,

In case you did not see my previous message, I have 233 images extracted from your PTE exe file. I need your email address so I can send you the zip file (41 Mbs) of these images

  12. Greetings Cedric, I still have the program that should be able to extract images from a PTE exe file. I haven't used it in a long while and it is not an intuitive program. But, sure, if you can get it to me, I will be glad to give it a try. Hope I can remember how to do it. You can try a new way of sending files, mentioned by Igor. Try: https://send.firefox.com/ Seems pretty easy to use. I sent my email address to your PTE message box. Gary
  13. A friend of mine asked me exactly the same question today regarding an old PTE exe file so I thought I would have a look on the forum. Is the offer from either Lin or Gary to look at an exe file still open? I seem to remember there used to be a project option about allowing extraction of pictures from the exe file. Andrew
  14. Igor, I see some spam appearing on the Forum site.  Can the webmaster take care of that?

  15. Igor is away until the end of this week.
  16. Wow! That was a helpful thing to learn. Thanks.
  17. Igor might Know something! Ken is an adjudicator.
  18. Another busy weekend, but I managed to get some more fantasy textures done. You’ll find them here: TXR – BRICK https://soundimage.org/txr-brick/ TXR – ROCK/STONE 2 https://soundimage.org/txr-rockstone-2/ I’ll have a bunch of cool new music tracks coming out on Wednesday so be sure to check my music thread. Enjoy!
  19. Hi, It's not a bug. The safe executable is certified including the icon. If you change the icon, it would be no more a safe executable. Denis
  20. Hi, I wish to create a safe executables as it is a sign exe, but the project option "Icon for executable files" only works for the default exe. Is this a bug? Can I change the icon of the safe executable? Thank you in advance
  21. Thanks Barry. That worked ok. Martin.
  22. Has somebody news concerning Ken Cox? No personnel message from him since more then 2 months and he doesn't reply to my mails wich is very unusual. Best regards Patrick
  23. Martin Click the try it free button, that is the latest version. Download it and install it and it’ll take your existing key. I agree that it’s not as clear as it should be. If you click an upgrade option you would expect to be taken to an upgrade page

  25. I have 9.0.20 Deluxe purchased 4 months ago. It is telling me an upgrade to 9.0.22 is available. Great. But when I click the link provided, the page I get is the "Try it free" or Buy now" page. Where is the upgrade page for existing users? I'm assuming this is free upgrade after only 4 months? Thanks, Martin.
