MP4 export quality and playback

Just thought folks would be interested to know I have got very good results from an H.264 codec called CoreAVC, which once installed into Media Player classic, seems to be able to play without any dropped frames etc on my laptop. (Dell XPS 1530, nVidia chipset, Vista). Using the standard codecs I could not get a playback result that was equivalent to the output from exe. I even tried this at 1920x1080 @ 60fps and it seemed to work great! My test file had pans, zooms and rotates.

mtoz,

Ive used CoreAVC Decoder for some time now and I believe its ranks among the best for decoding high-definition H.264 video.

Plus its a very resonable price for the product ... $8 US for the Standard version or $15 US for the Professional version.

Check the Professional version as its soon to add GPU support which may solve your :

...of course, the PZR's are not quite as good as the straight exe
