"The Night of the Hunter" (1920x1080 pixels).

I created this slide show in 2009 by continuously zooming in the Orion constellation (The Hunter of the Greek mythology).

- High quality pictures allowed of Robert Gendler, R Jay GaBany and the NASA (Hubble and Spitzer).

- Original music, specially created for this slide show by the young talented French composer David Gay-Perret.

You can find his musics on Jamendo :

http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/340947/david-gay-perret

And "The Night of the Hunter" here (In French : "La Nuit du Chasseur") :

The major difficulty was the perfect positioning of more and more detailed successive pictures.

Because the slightest gap of one or two pixels is immediately noticeable.

The power of the zoom and the high accuracy in the positioning of PTE (in "Low quality of resizing") allowed the creation of this slideshow.

Étienne was very proud of this AV.

He has worked a lot to obtain exactly what he wanted, with the beautiful pictures of Orion. He was also proud of its specially made music.

This AV was a treasure he kept just for his friends.

Recently, he decided to offer it on this forum (and on both french forums too). He was a little bit surprised to receive no comment…

He died today, saturday the 8th septtember, a cardiac arrest. He's now with Orion, his hunter.

Étienne was a dear friend, always ready to lend a hand, we all are very sorry.

Etienne,

Masterfully crafted and with beautiful music - a whole new world unfolds as you guide us through this journey. I'm so very sorry that I did not see your show and comment before you made your journey to that world beyond.

Best regards,

Lin

Jean-Cyprien,

First I am sorry that your friend has passed away. Please accept my condolences.

I wish I had downloaded and watched this video when he had uploaded it here. I was very impressed and inspired in watching it today. In fact I had watched it twice and was as impressed watching it the second time as I was the first.
