baidinc
Can someone tell me how to send an .exe e-mail without having it flag security settings as a possible virus? I thought I had read somewhere that the extension could be renamed, sent, and then renamed again to avoid this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure that the recipient would be able to unzip a folder. I'm new
boxig
baidincWhy not just zip the exe and send it ?
Guest guru
Sometimes a zip file too is blocked in e-mail. I sent a zip file to Igor some weeks ago, and Win XP inhibited him from opening it. The final solution is to rename the file with an innocent extension (for example .ipg), and tell the recipient to rename the file as .exe.
