Negative or Inverse images

When resizing images with Faststone Viewer, the images are rendered (negative or inverted) when placing in PTE.

Is there a setting that needs adjusting in order to render the images as they should?

The attached file will show what appears.

Many thanks

Keith

It could be something to do with Colour Mode (RGB Colour) or Colour Space (sRGB) or both?

I don't know Faststone - can you try a JPEG SOOC (Straight out of the camera)

Convert to sRGB in Faststone and try that.

You'll find a long discussion on Colour Space if you search here.

I am not advocating sRGB - but it will determine whether colour space your problem.

Also uploading a JPEG here will allow someone to analyse your problem a little better.

Hello Keith,

I convert my JPEG image file in FastStone Viewer and it works correctly in PicturesToExe.

Please can you send me two files - original image file and converted file which looks wrongly.

You can upload file to Mediafire.com or Dropbox.com

KeithImaging,

I received your sample image fle (_LAN0493.jpg, 1024x563, ) - it works correctly in PicturesToExe 8 on my PC.

1. Please let me know about the result. Did you manage to solve that problem?

2. Does this problem occur with other image files? For example, with the attached test image:

2. What video card installed in your PC?
