Unfortunately I did not understand the real value of the new parameter Mask Stencil, which was not present in version 8. I refer to the online instructions: "http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/how_to_v9/mask" In the case of "Add Mask Image/video" I realize that images or video can easily be added, and, depending on the color intensity, a mask is obtained, with effects in some way similar to layer masks in Photoshop. I have difficulty with the sentence: "A Video could also be added as either the Mask Stencil or Mask Content" (see last line just before the paragraph Text as a Mask) My problem is : 1. I do not understand what Mask Stencil means. 2. I do not see any way to work on it, because I cannot activate any key frame for it. Moreover, if I add an image on the Mask Stencil it comes out semitransparent and I do not see how to process on it. If I ignore Mask Stencil it is all right, but I think I am probably missing something. Could anyone help on this? davegee Posted March 23, 2017 Report Share Posted March 23, 2017 Claudio, Think of it as a re-organisation of the elements which were available to you in V8. You add KF to the Mask itself and not to the Stencil. Apply this style as per instructions in the style and Analyse in O&A.
