Slide Title Duration

The templates which allow pulling EXIF information and displaying on your slide are like any other object, they can be easily manipulated in the Objects List in Objects and Animations.

Highlight the "Text Comment" in the Object's List Then create two additional keyframes and set the second keyframe to 100% and the third keframe to zero. The file name will then fade out completely between the second and third keyframes. See video below:

The short answer is that, no, you cannot do exactly what you want.

This Style will do it for the "MAIN IMAGE TITLE" where the Main Image Title is the Slide Name. If you change the SLIDE NAME in SLIDE OPTIONS the Style will still show the Main Image Name.

Caption Image Name.ptestyle

If you are prepared to do it on a Slide by Slide basis then there are plenty of preset options in Styles / Captions where you can automatically add your own Caption to a Slide when applying the Style.

Why not just create 3 slides of an image and place the title on the the centre image, then add all 3 to the timeline and fade them in/out as normal?

This appears to be exactly what you are wanting and you vary the time of each image holding the title slide on longer if you wish.

If the object of the exercise is to use a text template, then perhaps there is a way to do it, but it's a work around using two versions of the image in a slide style.

Sandwich the text template between two identical images and instead of fading text up and down as we would normally do. Fade the top image down to show the text template and fade it back up to hide the text.

This is the way I proceed almost every day.

Presumably, if we are in fact talking about applying a template, then it's reasonable to assume that we are not talking of a simple project title, but maybe naming...many hundreds of images automatically.

In that case, the three slide method, which in fact started life with slide tape and is a good option, could be quite painful

In fact I don't know why I used two images above. The slide styles works OK with just the text template inserted
