AVG flags P2E files as Trojan Horse [SOLVED]

Recommended Posts

Just updated to P2E v9.0.10. All worked OK and I made a new show then published it as a PC format exe file as usual.

Just run my weekly AV check using AVG and get messages that PTEViewer5 and the exe file I created are infected with a trojan horse virus, see attached screen shots.

I'm pretty sure this is a false positive but would like to be re-assured before I set AVG to ignore this.

The problem with AVG antivirus should be solved soon:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting AVG.

The detection of provided file by AVG was incorrect, and we can confirm that the file is safe. The detection was removed in a recent AVG update, please wait at least 24 hours.
