Bethalan Posted January 14, 2003 Report Share Posted January 14, 2003 Could someone please explain the relevence of the fade in/fade out tab on the Effects page this is the box to the right of the main fade time box and seems to default to 1500. Ian Posted January 14, 2003 Report Share Posted January 14, 2003 The Fade In/Fade Out Duration time only applies to this transition effect. The value in the other box "Effect Duration" applies to all of the others - hour hand, circle etc etc.So for all of your "Fade In/Fade Out" transitions, the value you type in this box will become the default dissolve time. HaroldB Posted January 14, 2003 Report Share Posted January 14, 2003 As best as I can figure out, this number is only used when a transition effect is NOT specified for a slide. In that case, a transition may be selected off the list of checked transitions specified in the Project Options, and if a fade is selected, then this number is used as the duration.This gives you the option of specifying a different value for fade transitions versus all other transitions.If a transition is specified at the slide level, I do not think this number is used at all.Harold Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
