jkb Posted July 20, 2018 Report Share Posted July 20, 2018 I have a friend who is using PTE7.5.10 (the latest version) and whenever he sends an exe to anyone who uses Avast antivirus it says it may be unsafe. If the file is sent to Avast for checking it comes back as clean. If I scan the file with AVG (right click & scan) it says it is clean. But when I try to run the file, AVG does a quick 15 second scan first & says it may contain a virus. AVG is now part of Avast. I am sure this will come back from AVG as clean.
