Picture name on each slide

Earlier versions than 3.80 had the capability to show the Picture Name on the top of the slide by going to Project | Actions on Slide List | Set Comments for All slides To | Picture Name. This made it easy in long slide shows to identify where you where when you wanted to go back to revise, helped when viewing slide shows with a client because the picture name was visible, and provided a client with an easy way to select a picture when viewing "proofs". Does anyone know if Igor is restoring this function??? I would also like to see the ability to turn off the Navigation Bar when customizing a slide added to P2E...Harvey

He's just moved it. Click on the button Project Options. Then on the Comments tab check Set comments for all slides as: and choose Picture name.

You can still do this in 3.80. Go to Project / Project Options / Set Comments for all slides as: Picture Name.

To the rest of the "gang" - this is a typical FAQ question. The new forum cries out for subsections! Lots of this information could be shared there. We might also have a section for "newbies" where the rest of us could go to help others.

I'd also like to see a section called "Tips and Tricks" where interesting and less obvious uses of PTE could be shared.

Totally agree with you, Rick!

I think these three sections are essential (it's only a beginning) :

- Simple questions (newbies level - but not only those! ) = FAQ

- Tips and tricks

- Wish lists, bugs etc.
